Juki Corporation is a Japanese based company that first started manufacturing sewing machines in 1945. Probably best known for their ranges of industrial sewing machines and embroidery machines, they also have a reasonable range of household models.
While all of their current models are fully computerized, they lack all of the fancy aesthetic whistles and bells (like large touch screens, etc) that are often found on the higher end machines from other manufacturers. This could result from their extensive experience in designing models for the industrial market, where such items are very easily broken.

Pictured left is the top of the Juki range in household sewing machines - the HZL-E80.
